The Bioendo® rCR Endotoxin Test Kit employs genetic recombination technology to express the key zymogens of the horseshoe crab coagulation cascade (Factor C, Factor B, and proclotting enzyme) in eukaryotic cells. Endotoxin sequentially activates Factor C, Factor B, and proclotting enzyme. The activated proclotting enzyme then cleaves the chromogenic substrate, releasing yellow p-nitroaniline (pNA), which is quantified at 405 nm. The entire process is free of animal-derived materials, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and environmental sustainability.
